Good morning all!
We have had a WONDERFUL start to the day!
Dad has so much more energy with the TPN intravenous nutrition he has been receiving. Dad got out of bed this morning for an entire hour! He stood and sat over and over like he was exercising. He took a shower, shaved, got all new clean sheets and clothes… He looks like a new man!
Dr. Patel, the surgeon, stopped in this morning even though it is his day off. He walked through everything with us again – which is always helpful. He also scheduled Dad for surgery on Monday. This will be used to place a port and to resolve the bowel issue if it has not self corrected by then.
There is no real new information overall.
I will send out more information later – we are working on more research and a better way to share this information.
