Yard sale…

“When you go through deep waters, I will be with you” Isaiah 43:2

Good Sunday Morning,
Last night was a rough one with a general lack of sleep. Dad is about done with his nasogastric tube, and I can’t blame him. The new pain medication regiment seems to be better, but it is still getting dialed in.

Dad is scheduled for surgery tomorrow morning at 9am. Based on this, the doctor wants to move Dad to a surgery recovery floor in the hospital, so we will likely change rooms today. Have you ever noticed how quickly you accumulate copious amounts of “stuff” between moving from one house to the next? Well somehow the same has happened here in our hospital room un under a week. There are clothes in a closet, boxes and boxes of food, cases of water, cords and chargers, blankets and pillows from home, and on and on and on… I want to get a mini Pod to move our stuff to the new hospital room.

Moving is good though; a fresh start, new views (even if they are hospital ones), and a sign of progress. Mostly for Dad, no more nasogastric tube!

More to come tonight.

Hope and Love,
Richard
