My new favorite word…. “Remission”

It has been far too long since our last blog update and I wanted to share a brief but fantastic update.

To all of my friends, family, co-workers, and the countless thousands who have been praying for me, it is almost with disbelief that I share this latest fantastic news. Last week in a meeting with my Oncologist after comparinng multiple CT Scans, he stated “that there are no new signs of cancer, and what was visible before is no longer visible; declaring my status as in “Remission.” I haven’t had any chemo treatments in 6+ months and we will continue to monitor this on a monthly basis.

While sharing this with you is among the best possible news, I do so with the frailty and apprehension it deserves. I am still fighting an infection in my chest cavity that continues to cause daily fevers and significant coughing attacks. We are continuing to battle this dreaded disease and we are making progress thanks to all of your love, prayers and support.

With love hope and prayers,

Kevin
